An 18th century manor house nestled between some of the best vineyards from Saint Emilion, beautifully renovated to offer comfortable interiors and bedrooms whilst respecting the elegance of the property and its historic origins.
Clos 1906 was a private residence attached to a wine cellar and vineyard. The property was historically known as La Madeleine and lended its name to one of the wines produced at the vineyard : Clos La Madeleine.
Today, after the segregation of the vineyard activities, Clos 1906 takes its name from the year when the property was build to its actual shape. After a thoughtful renovation Clos 1906 is a home away from home, a place where the discerning travelers will find a perfect blend of comfort, design, antiques and relaxed atmosphere.
The secluded sun filled garden offers a nice swimming pool with views over the surrounded vineyards, the perfect place to have breakfast or to spend a summer afternoon after visiting the medieval unesco heritage village and discovering beautiful wineries.
Within a 10 minutes walking stroll from Clos 1906 you can be at the center of Saint Emilion historical village with its wide offer of restaurants and wine shops.
